BOTANICAL PRINT PARTY
Create a unique beautiful textile botanically printed by you in Mexchic’s gorgeous home studio & gardens. Learn something new in a creative, fun and lighthearted context for a shared and memorable experience among friends and loved ones.
The party is hosted personally by Mexchic’s designer Christina Hattler. Take home a beautiful piece you made by hand, cherish it and the memory of making it forever!
Includes: A brief and easy to understand instruction on natural dyes and the plants & materials which will be used in the event.
A pre-prepared textile to dye, a beautiful display of locally foraged flowers and dye materials, apron to protect your clothing, Agua de Sabor, optional Mezcal cocktails or mocktails,
delicious hors’ d oeuvres and or lunch prepared on site to a menu created with hyper local seasonal ingredients.
Ideal for: Group of Friends, Wedding Party Event, Bachelorette Party, Baby Shower, Girls & Women’s Travel groups, Artists in Residence, Work Retreat,
Vacationers, Travelers & Explorers, General Interest for natural dye beginners to gain knowledge on how natural dyes work.

OPTION 1
Botanical Print Learning, Basic
This options is best when there is more of a time restriction, smaller groups of 1 or 2 and you are looking only for some basic knowledge on natural dyes and printing. It includes a brief and easy to understand instruction on natural dyes and the plants & materials which will be used in the class, a beautiful table display of locally sourced flora to work with, pre prepared materials for quick and easy printing. Some sourced from our very own Mexchic botanical dye garden, other items locally foraged and others purchased in the local market. Agua de sabor, is a naturally flavored fruit water made on site with local ingredients. Duration is approximately 3 hours.
OPTION 2
Botanical Party with Hors´ d oeuvres and Mezcal Cocktails/Mocktails
This options is best for larger groups of 5 - 10 guests. It includes a brief and easy to understand instruction on natural dyes and the plants & materials which will be used in the class, a beautiful table display of locally sourced flora to work with, pre prepared materials for quick and easy printing. Some sourced from our very own Mexchic botanical dye garden, other items locally foraged and others purchased in the local market. Agua de sabor, is a naturally flavored fruit water made on site with local ingredients. Hors´ d oeuvres and Mezcal Cocktails/Mocktails all prepared on site created with hyper local ingredients. Duration is approximately 4-5 hours.
OPTION 3
Botanical Party with Hors´ d oeuvres, Mezcal Cocktails/Mocktails and Lunch
This options is best for larger groups of 2-5 guests. It includes a brief and easy to understand instruction on natural dyes and the plants & materials which will be used in the class, a beautiful table display of locally sourced flora to work with, pre prepared materials for quick and easy printing. Some sourced from our very own Mexchic botanical dye garden, other items locally foraged and others purchased in the local market. Agua de sabor, is a naturally flavored fruit water made on site with local ingredients. Hors´ d oeuvres and Mezcal Cocktails/Mocktails and a lovely Oaxacan lunch with Christina all prepared on site created with hyper local ingredients. Duration is approximately 5 hours.
Duration: 3 - 5 hours depending on option chosen
Minimum number of guests: 1
Maximum number of guests: 10 (if your group happens to be larger please write us hola@mexchic.co and we can see how to best accommodate you)
Textile Option: Silk Scarf, Silk Tunic Blouse, Silk Tunic Dress
Food: Optional, if there are food allergies & special dietary requirements/restrictions please let us know in advance as the cost may vary.
Location: Mexchic Studio is located approximately 25 min out of Oaxaca centro, in Santa Maria del Tule. We can either supply or recommend professional & safe transportation to and from if needed. Please let us know in advance.
