Botanical Print and Embroidery Workshop at Tatter in Brooklyn, NY
I am very happy to share that I will be giving a workshop at Tattler in Brooklyn on Tuesday, June 30th, 5-9pm. The workshop will focus on botanical printing with hand embroidery. Tatter is, to me, one of the most unique spaces in textiles today, bringing together makers, craft, design, books, tools, education, and activism on both a local and international level. I feel deeply honored to be included among their incredibly talented teachers. Space is very limited, so I recommend booking soon. The workshop is a gentle, low pressure way to learn about natural dyeing, or to reconnect with your creativity if you already have experience but have not practiced in a while. It is also simply a beautiful way to spend time with other textile lovers, and for me to meet you in person (!!)
