Materials and Process:

The Betty Blue Jacket is part of Las Diosas (Goddess) Collection made up of one of a kind wearable works of art, inspired by femininity, strength and sensuality. All the pieces in this collection are one of a kind, naturally dyed, hand pleated and sewn in our studio in Oaxaca, Mexico.

An oversized style boyfriend jacket with interior and exterior pockets, lined in a sheer cotton gauze and filled with fantastical hand made ceramic buttons. The cut is based on a vintage Levis piece I own from the 90’s. The lovey tawny peach color is created with natural dyes in our studio. The textile is an antique piece I inherited from my grandmother. This is a truly exquisite piece which took many complex craft techniques to create.
