Materials and Process:
The Filipa blouse is a one of a kind piece made in a very thin handwoven cotton handwoven by a traditional rebozo weaver in the State of Mexico. We designed this graphic plaid fabric patten 11 years ago as part of our Rebozo textile collection, and this blouse was created with the last few meters we have left in this textile. The blouse pattern is based on an antique man´s shirt from France with a few contemporary updates. The button holes are made in a tailor´s buttonhole, made this way for the longevity of the piece, the buttons are hand covered with a metal base and it is sewn entirely with French seam interiors.
This is a truly exquisite piece which took many complex craft techniques to create.

Colors Available: Navy Blue/Cream
Textile: 100% handwoven cotton
Hours to produce: 11 hours to sew, 3 hours to hand cut pattern
Care: Hand wash in cold water with PH Neutral soap (do not soak) wring dry and line dry out of the sun- or dry clean
