A new collection of sculptural handbags, inspired by my home of Oaxaca, Mexico and its rich natural biodiversity, landscape, flora and fauna.
This one reminds me of a little dancing rat painted by Leonora Carrington.
The Nectar of Venus wristlet pouch is a one of a kind piece, made with hand pleated silk and natural dyes. It has a white vintage silk lining. At the base hanging are antique Venetian glass beads.
A portable little sculpture, just the right to fit a phone, lipstick and keys, worn as a wristlet.
Color: Natural Dyes, light pink, beige, white
Textile: Silk exterior and silk interior
